Mobile Developer Lab Site Closure

As the creator of the Mobile Developer Lab site I would like to thank you for your membership and participation in the site forums.

Unfortunately I am unable to continue financing the site, and so the time has come when the Mobile Developer Lab must shut down indefinitely. A timetable has not yet been set but the site is tentatively scheduled to close around the end of the month (July)

Many members have enjoyed the support and peer collaboration that the MDL site has...

Real-time debugging on mobile devices

This simple project is to help developers in real-time debugging
applications on real mobile devices. If we use emulator, everything
can be printed out, but on device it just doesn't behave well or crash
and we can't see what happened in the background.

In Doja you can printout strings and later check them in the trace,
but Softbank doesn't have even that. But even in Doja it is sometimes
necessary to find in which moment error appeared, and that...

Staying Relevant

I get about an hour a week, if I'm lucky, to work on my own projects - which includes this site. As such it is rare that I get the time to upload new content and write new tutorials for the MDL site.

A large focus of this site has been programming for the DoJa API. Given the popularity of DoJa among the Non-Japanese speaking developer community (that is to say, not very popular), I'm starting to question the relevance of this site and it continued cost.

This new Softbank phone by Toshiba (815T PB) comes with plastic arms and legs that attach to its body to allow people with a bit too much time on their hands to stand it in various action posses.
